Life, how I view it, how unpredictable it is and how it can end up kicking you right in the ass.

My last term of classes have just ended. Dealing with special needs children is very fufilling and at times fustrating. At the end of each term, we always have a small party for the children and give them certificates for their efforts. In return, they make us cards or little gifts. That is where my problem starts. When you receive a picture like this.... Image hosted by Photobucket.com
it makes you go " awwwww...." Especially when you know it's extra hard for some of these kids to even hold a pencil. But my question is, what do you do when you get like, 50 of them? I don't have the heart to throw them out, and my fridge at home is only so big. More often than not, I paste them onto the notice board at our centre. Every ten weeks signals the end of term, which means I have to do this every 2 months or so. Of course there are some special pictures that I keep at home, pictures from children who have touched my heart in their own way.

When I first started this job, I wasn't sure if I was going to stay on. But after nearly a year, I think it's likely that I'll stay on.
