On my way to work this morning, I realised that people in TLOTW lead fairly miserable lives. To earn the title, "Land of the Wealthy", us citizens have had to give up a lot. We work, go home, sleep and work again. Heck, no one even has sex anymore if a survey conducted by Durex is accurate. Plus, our government is "paying" people to have more kids. That's right people, we're short on children. Why? Because people in TLOTW think its too expensive to have children. An estimated cost of bringing up a child here is $400,000. And that doesn't include enrichment classes for the little one, a MUST in TLOTW.
Well, being young at heart, all I can say is this. Children don't care if they don't wear designer clothes, in fact they'll be happier in shorts and a T-shirt. They don't mind if you can't afford to send them for tution, language classes, in fact, they might be happier. All they want to do is play, and even then, there is no need to buy them the latest gadget in the market, some kids are happier playing with a cardboard box.
So all you adults in TLOTW, learn from the kids, have fun and go make some babies!
