More Observations From the Land of The Wealthy

Today when I was traveling to work, I made some observations about Citizens in TLOTW. It is a well documented fact that citizens in TLOTW are always afraid to lose out to others. They HAVE to be first at everything. This might help one understand why the bloody trains are always full at the doorways while the centre of the carriage remains empty.

An empty seat on the train during morning rush hour is like a God sent. I've learnt an important lesson today, if there is an empty seat and no one is making an attempt to rush for it, DO NOT SIT. I made that mistake this morning. Firstly, I was squashed between two huge people. That itself wasn't that bad, it was the fact that the both of them were asleep! And they decided to make my shoulders their pillows. I'm only average size about 5'3, okay 5'2 without heels. So it was like two huge mountains caving in on me. I tried my best to elbow both of them away but it was a lost cause. The people around me gave me "I told you not to sit there" looks. Since I'm not your average LOTW citizen, I decided to ask both of them if they could please get off my shoulders before they bloody break it. The conversation went like this:

Me: Could you please not lean on my shoulder?
Fat Person 1:* Blank Stare*
Me: Please don't lean on my shoulder, I don't mind if you want to sleep, but just not on me.
Fat person 1: * Blank Stare*
Since this conversation was going sooo well, I didn't want to bother asking fat person 2 who I suspect might have drooled on my blouse.

So till I earn enough to buy my own set of wheels, I'll just have to content with fat drooling people and a crowded train.
