Life, how I view it, how unpredictable it is and how it can end up kicking you right in the ass.

It has been a bad week. First there was that incident with the pole which led to a visit to the hospital. Then on Saturday, my boyfriend fell while riding in a race. I wasn't there to see it and in a way it was good 'cos I would have totally freaked out.

He only suffered bruises and needed a couple of stitches for his chin, other than that we're all just very grateful that he's alive. When I watched the replay, my blood just turned cold, it could have turned out a lot worst. The horse had nearly fallen on top of him and its a good thing he manage to break the impact of the fall by clinging onto the horse's neck. Even until now, it still makes me feel a bit sick each time someone mentions the accident.

My first week of work is over. Enjoyed it but am really tired from the intensive training that I'm undergoing at the moment.

Oh, there has been a new addition to the cat family at the stable. A kitten just walked in one morning and decided to make our stable his new home. He is so sweet, very timid and very small so I decided to name him Squeak. Pictures of Squeak soon.
